The innovations have already found their way directly from interzum into the newly-developed slatted frame models of renowned manufacturers at the major fairs such as heimtextil, Frankfurt or imm cologne in spring 2008. Here the products of the Herford-based company presented themselves as leading in the manufacture of standard and special items for the slatted frame, bed and mattress industry, as the latest technologies which came about in cooperation with leading orthopaedic and anatomy specialists: Sophisticated product innovations for perfect sleep.
Numerous industrial property rights registrations underline the high degree of development competence of the leading component supplier to the bed industry and so it is hardly surprising that a patent is pending for the new development, “MATF-F1“. The one-piece mattresses spring element in permanently elastic plastic finds use in mattresses, box springs and in upholstered furniture. The cylindrically built spring system consists of three different parts, which absorb weight and distribute it evenly. This results in improved resilience and more even directional stability in all loading directions. The circular cylindrical element can be used in any direction in a mattress or cushion. The special construction also permits economical manufacturing, so that the new development can be offered at an attractive price.
“PFS“, “VFS“ and “SFSK“ present three new sleeping systems for multi-zone surfaces also registered for patents. The “PFS System“ makes a convincing impact with the greatest possible bellows-like spring excursion with an extremely low overall height. Like all systems, this too is available in different degrees of firmness. The benefit: Due to the pump effect of the bellows. air circulation is increased and the ventilation of the mattress is improved.
The “VFS System“ offers good combination options with the adjustment caps of the “H 43“ and “H 38“ series and boasts integrated tension adjustment which permits specific tension adjustment within the mattress area of a slatted frame with multi-zone surface. This system in particular consistently reflects the demands of the market and the quality requirements e.g. of the LGA for individual firmness regulation in the area of the lordosis even in slatted frame models with multi-zone surfaces. Here the inspectors’ demands for improvements arising from different quality and comfort inspections are implemented in an economically viable solution concept.
The “SFSK-System“ is based on the air cushion technology with integrated air cushions which has already proven its worth in slat holders. The cushion of air is compressed when weight is applied so that progressive counter pressure of the element results The best conditions for optimum adaptation to the body and restorative sleep.
In the area of slat holders, Hartmann offers further new developments: The “SWG system“ is an interactive sprung base system which progressively distributes the weight and so permits optimum adaptation of the mattress area to the body. The TRIO bar system “H 43.1.40“ and the 2-bar “H 38.9.40“ boast an integrated individual adjustment option for firmness regulation. Instead of the adjustment button, a plug can be used as a mattress stopper or as an optic element.
Easy assembly and greater safety are promised by the “GL-AB1“. The innovative joint cover is attached by simply slipping it on and so offers a plus in terms of safety. Exposed clamping areas are covered from access. This element can also be easily used to retrofit the existing slatted frame. It is more economical than well-known bellows covers and can be combined with many conventional standard metal fittings. Individual colour designs are possible so that the frame is also optically enhanced.
Furthermore, as always, all new Hartmann products can be recycled completely and into homogenous categories.
